Everything you need to know to prepare for your appointment?

Permanent makeup is a technique involving tattooing pigments into the skin (dermis) to create makeup-like designs, including artificial eyebrows, which is particularly helpful for individuals who have lost their brows due to various reasons like aging, diseases, chemotherapy, or genetics, and to conceal skin imperfections such as scars & hypopigmentation like vitiligo. It provides natural and beautiful brows, suitable for those who have over-tweezed or wish to redefine, darken, or reshape their eyebrows. Annual touch-ups are advised to maintain shape and color consistency.

Micro-pigmentation and semi-permanent makeup both refer to tattooing pigment into the skin. Cosmetic tattooing, or micro-pigmentation, involves implanting pigment beneath the skin’s surface using small, sterile, disposable needles to mimic hair strokes, natural makeup, or enhance existing features. While we cannot guarantee results for everyone, most cosmetic tattoo services typically require one touch-up. Some may need additional touch-ups to achieve their desired outcome, with charges applied accordingly. These services aim not to replace makeup but to accentuate one’s natural features and beauty.

Appointment Day Guidelines?

During your initial consultation, we’ll have a comprehensive discussion about the treatment. Together, we’ll determine the most flattering shape, color, thickness, and density that align with your preferences. Once we’ve agreed on the details, we’ll proceed with the procedure. Our primary aim is to achieve optimal results, although it’s important to note that outcomes can vary from person to person.

  • New Appointments for brows: These typically last around 3-4 hours.
  • New appointments for Lips or Eyeliner: 1 & 1/2 – 3 hours.
  • Touch-Up Appointments: These are shorter, lasting about 1 & 1/2-2 hours.

Please ensure that you arrive promptly for your appointment. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, I reserve the right to cancel your appointment, and unfortunately, your deposit won’t be refunded. Should you need to reschedule, an additional deposit will be required.

Results?

We cannot guarantee specific results with permanent makeup as it is an art, not a science. The outcome can vary from person to person and your skin is the boss! It’s possible that makeup may still be required to achieve your desired look, but this will provide a good foundation. Additionally, more than one touch-up session may be necessary to achieve the desired outcome.

Refund & Cancellation Policy?

If you do not show OR are more than 15 minutes late, you will forfeit your appointment and will need to reschedule and you will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee. We require a 48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule, otherwise you will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee.

There are absolutely NO refunds for any services; by booking an appointment you agree to all policies.

Rescheduling?

You may reschedule your appointment up 2 times then if a 3rd reschedule is needed you will be charged a $50 fee to reserve your appointment. A 48-hour notice is required to make any changes to your appointment.

Does cosmetic tattooing hurt?

We employ a blend of highly effective anesthetics tailored to your particular procedure. Our aim is to ensure maximum comfort for every client during each service. However, pain tolerance varies among individuals. While some discomfort may still be present, it’s usually minimal.

The Do's & Don'ts prior to your appointment?

DO: You may also come in with your eyebrows filled in as you normally would if you would like us to see how you wear them daily.

DO NOT: Please do not take any blood thinning medications (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, fish oil, etc) within 24-48 hours of your appointment. Excessive bleeding can cause the pigment not to take. Alcoholic beverages should not be consumed the night before, or the day of your appointment. Please also avoid sun and tanning bed exposure 30 days before, and 30 days after your procedure.
